Retake Policy on Assessments

Students have one re-take opportunity for each assessment to demonstrate learning.This retake must be done within 5 school days of receiving their initial assessment grade.

• Reassessment (Student-Initiated): Students are given the opportunity to retake any unit assessment once by the teacher-identified date if they have completed ALL of the practice (learning activities, assignments, homework, etc.) prior to the original assessment and after additional learning opportunities are completed.
• Reassessment (Teacher-Initiated): Students who have not yet demonstrated proficiency in essential understandings will be given an opportunity to complete a reassessment. A reassessment will occur after additional learning opportunities are completed. *Students may earn up to 100% on the retake/reassessment. The retake/reassessment will be the final score for the unit assessment.

Please look over your child's advisor's letter as well as the important core subject files.
